With its high load capacity of up to 25kg, it is suited to working with large, heavy DSLR and video cameras. The special feature of the CT-3204 is its convertible mounting plate. It can be set up as a flat mount that can take any head with a 3/8″ mount, or it can be adjusted to be a levelling base. It can also be replaced with a video head with a 75mm half-bowl mount. The center mount of the CT-3204 also includes a hook to add weight to create a more stable platform in high winds. The leg tubes are made from 10-layer carbon fibre, making the tripod extremely lightweight but very stable. Depending on the surface, the non-slip rubber feet can be replaced with robust stainless steel spikes (included).
